Hi All, I may not be posting any new chapters but I'm still working pretty hard on Leaving the Light. As I'm also not updating the mailing list as often, I thought I'd create a Facebook Fan Page to keep you all up to date. Then I figured, what if they all don't have facebook? Well, I also created a twitter account and linked my semi-defunct Myspace page to them as well. I've decided I'm going to start removing "Leaving the Light" from the net. The reason: I want to publish it. To even send it anywhere means I need to remove it from free public view. The version on-line is unedited anyway so it's best if publishers don't see it. It's not that I don't love you guys. You're the only reason it's been up this long. I really have hesitated about taking it out of free public view, because I think you guys deserve to read it. However, if we want to see it on the bookshelves I need to remove it from the web. I've already removed it from Fictionpress and will be removing it from Storywrite. It will remain on my own webpage a while longer, maybe even long enough for me to put up the next chapter, which will still be a couple of weeks away. So I ask you, if you do have a personal copy that you've downloaded for any reason, please delete it, it will make publication that much easier and possible. Hello all, It's here! The next chapter of Season of Darkness is up! You'll only be able to find it at this link for a couple weeks as I'll be away from the computer and won't have time to add the links to the normal webpages. Season of Darkness Chapter 19

And.... only two months late! Sorry guys. Between personal issues and writer's block, it took me a bit longer than I anticipated to get this chapter out. It also wound up a bit differently than I thought it would. Trentin just magically popped in there without me planning it, but then, he's like that. So after leaving Toni to burn for a couple months I finally give her some relief in this chapter. On the brink of death she begins to hallucinate about the past and Velren. How much of it is real, and how much is her imagination is still in question. I know it can't be easy waiting a month let alone two or three for a new chapter of any book. I know I am not the fastest of writers, but you guys are the reason I continue on. I promise you I will complete this series. It may take me more years than either of us can imagine, but I will finish it. There's still at least three and a half books to go, so never fear if I leave a cliffhanger ending, it just means you'll have more to look forward to. Every time I went to work on this chapter of Leaving the Light something came up. I swear I was going to have it done by the end of November but then my computer died. Other things kept getting in the way right up to today as I was getting ready to post, my keyboard decided to choke on me and now I have a bad keyboard. I hope the next chapter will go smoother. I really do intend to have it finished in a month's time. Hello all, Yes, I know it's been forever, and it will still be a little while longer, before the next chapter in Leaving the Light. I promise you I am working on it right now. Well, not right at this moment as I'm writing this to tell you about my forum. As some of you might know I HAD a forum on xsorbit. Apparently the people running those forums and servers ran off and dumped the entire server, so I have lost all information on there including who had signed up for the forum. The good news is; I have a new forum on my own website! Leaving the Light Updates Update on the next chapter.

Hi all, I didn't realize it's been so long since I sent out my last update. Many of you are probably wondering when the next chapter will be. Some of you know my computer died in late November and my half finished chapter was on there. The good/bad news is my hard drive is intact. That is perhaps bad news because it means I haven't been wanting to touch that chapter or rewrite it in the intervening time. I do not know when I will have my computer back as I have a friend working on it in his free time. So I can't promise you when the chapter will arrive. I have not been idle, however. In addition to other short stories, I have written several side chapters and/or background information on "Leaving the Light." Be aware that some of these have major spoilers for things I've either not written yet or have only hinted at.
